Topia is a brand that was built from the ground up, literally. When Seattle friends Kris and Chelle announced their intention to permanently relocate to Baja, Mexico, I was eager to help them. The first step was to develop a name for their dream retreat and boutique hotel. Shortened from utopia, Topia is memorable, easy to say, and short and sweet. From there, we fleshed out the identity and messaging strategy—creating a one-of-a-kind destination that maps to their personality and convictions.
